The clip below is from the Kinross Charter Township Audit Report 2007. As reported previously this audit holds some shocking information if you read between the lines of all the fluffy stuff that the auditors put into it to make the Supervisor and the Board feel like they are doing their job. The reality is quite the opposite. The slap on the hand below is the only repercussion the Treasurer, Supervisor and Clerk encountered since their irresponsible actions (or inactions) regarding the theft of thousands of dollars in taxpayer monies. Do you think this is enough? Should someone explain to them what fiduciary responsibility means? Would you continue to employ people who are obviously in office to serve themselves and not the voting public. More to come...
