Paczkowski to
run for Kinross Township Clerk
At a gathering
at his home, Joe Paczkowski announced his candidacy for Kinross
Township Clerk “It was a pleasure to serve the residents of
Kinross Township as the Deputy Supervisor. I look forward to
serving the public as Clerk. Much needs to be done at the
Township level to increase the communications to the public.”
Currently, the Township does not post the regular meeting
minutes in the local newspaper and the website has been
neglected. “When I am elected Clerk I pledge to continue my work
on video recording the Board meetings and I will make the
recordings available online as they are currently on the Kinross
Business Association website
www.kinross.biz . I am proud of my work on the Kinross
Business Association as the founder and President. I am
committed to continuing my efforts to energetically promote
Kinross as a great place to do Business and a great place to
live. I pledge to not accept full time health insurance as a
part time elected official.” The Township has spent almost
$200,000.00 to insure Board members over the past four years.” I
challenge all candidates for Township office to sign the pledge
to not accept the health benefit and to work to eliminate it
altogether” said Paczkowski. The pledge can be found on the KBA
website
www.kinross.biz .
“Once elected I will
immediately introduce a resolution expressing the disappointment
of the residents of the Township that R.J. Wallis was closed and
pledge to work with the school Board to reconsider their
decision and reopen the school. Our current Township Clerk stood
mute as the fate of R.J. Wallis was debated. We need a Board
that will go to bat for the citizens not just collect a pay
check. My experience with multiple levels of government will
help me to serve you the way you deserve.” With over 30 years of
governmental and community service, Paczkowski feels that he is
qualified to get the job done.
“I
am extremely excited about this campaign, and I hope this energy
will be felt by all we come in contact with over the next
several months.”
“Serving as Kinross Township Clerk would be an honor and a
privilege. I look forward to personally meeting you as I go door
to door, neighborhood to neighborhood, listening to folk's views
and suggestions. We face big issues - requiring fresh solutions
- working together” he said. “Please consider my background as a
citizen volunteer, public leader and businessman. Tools I hope
to put to work for you and our Township's future. I pledge to
place the public's interest first - never caving-in to selfish,
special interests. My primary goal is to return Honesty, respect
and responsive representation back to the Board. With your help,
I will be an advocate and positive voice for our community.” For
